| The platter makes a great cheese boards, and is ideal for storing condiments and sauces for a table. Also good for storing paper clips and pens! Size: Platter 48cm length x 24cm width x 5cm height To preserve the wood we advise that you wash these items in warm soapy water and dry immediately. Do not leave submerged in water as this may stain the wood. The mango wood is sustainable. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit but once the trees reach a certain size and age, they stop bearing fruit. It is then that the trees can be cut down and used to create wood products. The removal of the old trees makes space for farmers to plant new mango trees. This not only means that none of the wood is wasted but offers a supplementary income to mango wood farmers.
